The New Jersey Civic Information Consortium is proud to conclude its Vision & Impact Week, a week-long series of releases showcasing the organization’s plans and progress. During this week, the Consortium published its Strategic Plan, Annual Report, and Impact Report, each highlighting critical aspects of its efforts to strengthen local journalism and improve public access to vital information throughout New Jersey.
Each report plays a key role in understanding the Consortium’s vision, recent successes, and future goals:
Strategic Plan:
Released on Tuesday, the Strategic Plan outlines the Consortium’s roadmap for the future, detailing innovative strategies to bolster local journalism, expand access to public information, and foster community engagement across the state. The plan focuses on building equity, sustainability, and accountability in New Jersey’s information ecosystem. Read the full Strategic Plan here.
Impact Report:
On Wednesday, the Consortium shared its Impact Report, which spotlights the real-world effects of its funding and programs. This report details how grantees and community initiatives have made a difference in local communities, tackling underreported issues and amplifying voices often left out of the media. Annual Report:
Vision & Impact Week culminated on Friday with the release of the Consortium’s Annual Report, highlighting the organization’s growth over the past year, its financial stewardship, and key milestones. The report provides an overview of the financial and programmatic health of the Consortium and showcases the steps the Consortium has taken to deliver on its commitment to strengthen the civic information landscape in New Jersey.
