Robin Wilson-Glover

Founding Editor, Mosaic, and former Director of Opinion, NJ Advance Media

Robin Wilson-Glover has been involved in local news coverage for more than 40 years. She has been a political reporter, an award-winning education reporter, a features reporter, a line editor, an assignment editor and a newsroom manager for several publications, including The Times-Union and the Democrat & Chronicle in Rochester, N.Y. and The Star-Ledger in New Jersey.

She has served as the Director for Digital Opinion at the state’s largest news site, NJ.com, and was the founding editor for Mosaic, a news site published by NJ Advance Media to celebrate the richness of the state’s diverse population. 

In those myriad roles, she has managed reporters in multiple bureaus and newsrooms and edited reporters who covered almost every news beat. She also co-chaired NJ Advance Media’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, which helped devise policy and create new programs and job descriptions for the company. In 2024, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Corporation for New Jersey Local Media. 

Robin, a Chicago native, is also a former Maynard Institute Fellow and a graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Maxwell School of Citizenship at Syracuse University. 

Currently, she’s an adjunct teaching journalism at Rutgers University-Newark.
