Meet our team, learn about our work, and join the conversation about local news in New Jersey!
The New Jersey Civic Information Consortium (NJCIC) invites New Jersey residents, journalists, community organizations, and anyone interested in strengthening local news and civic information to attend one of our three annual public meetings, taking place virtually November 4–6, 2026.
As part of our commitment to transparency and public engagement, NJCIC hosts three public meetings each year to connect with communities across the state, share updates about our work, and answer questions from the public.
These meetings are an opportunity to meet NJCIC staff, learn more about our grantmaking and initiatives, ask questions, and share your thoughts on the local news and information needs of your community.
All meetings will take place virtually via Zoom. Attendance is free and open to the public.
While NJCIC’s public meetings are traditionally organized around North, Central, and South Jersey, all three sessions are open to everyone, regardless of location. Attendees are welcome to register for whichever meeting best fits their schedule.
Whether you’re familiar with NJCIC or learning about us for the first time, we encourage you to join us.
Local journalism and civic information play an essential role in keeping communities informed, connected, and engaged. We look forward to sharing more about our work, hearing your perspectives, and answering your questions.
We hope to see you there!
