Marisol is the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations and Communications at Genmab A/S, an international biotech specializing in next-generation antibody therapeutics focused on fighting cancer. She is responsible for leading the overall strategic development, implementation and management of the biotech’s communications initiatives across multiple audiences including traditional and social media, patient and patient advocacy groups, healthcare professionals, community stakeholders, and Genmab employees. She also oversees the management of engagements with the financial community, investors and analysts. Marisol sits on the company’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and is active in employee engagement efforts.
Marisol has more than 20 years’ experience in the life sciences industry and has built a successful track record working internationally and cross-functionally to achieve both communications and organizational objectives. Prior to joining Genmab, Marisol served as the Vice President of Communications for NA at Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals and spent 17 years at Sanofi, where she was Associate Vice President for the vaccines division in North America and held various communications roles for Sanofi’s oncology, cardiovascular and diabetes business units.
Marisol holds a master’s degree in International Public Relations from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications & Advertising from Florida International University. Marisol resides in Somerset County with her husband and their two children. She is also a member of the Junior Achievement of Central NJ board of directors and a member of the biotech task force for the Cancer Support Community Central NJ.
